This bar was born out of necessity! It was created during kidding season when all milk was going to the baby goats. So being a creative, I improvised! What I came up with is a skin loving soap cut into massive bars!
Hemp oil is perfect for most skin types as it helps balance out oil production. One of the omega 6 fatty acids that hemp oil contains is gamma linolenic acid, GLA, which is a powerful anti-inflammatory. It encourages skin growth and new cell generation. To aid the regeneration, I added colloidal oats for the mild exfoliation, emollient and anti-inflammatory properties. Beer is actually good for skin! Hops contain skin softening amino acids and is soothing to irritated skin!
I started with beer, then blended in hemp, coconut, olive, castor oils, Shea butter, colloidal oatmeal, a light phthalate free fragrance oil blend and left out the colorants. I then saponified the oils and you get a creamy, sudsy, pleasantly fragrant bar of soap!
To help your bars last as long as possible, try using one of our cedar soap decks to allow them to dry between uses at the sink. In the shower, be sure to keep them out of direct streams of water.
Each small batch is hand cut into bars that weigh a whopping 9-10 oz each! No two are exactly alike!
